PTG TECHSHOW – A day that united technology and experience
More than 60 partners, 5 technology zones, 9 interactive demonstrations, hands-on experiences and professional presentations
More than 60 partners, 5 technology zones, 9 interactive demonstrations, hands-on experiences and professional presentations – These were the characteristics of the first PTG TECHSHOW event, which presented the latest solutions in surface preparation, coating technology and industrial digitalization in a lifelike environment.
The aim of the event was to provide a comprehensive overview of current and future technologies in a real industrial environment – not in the form of theoretical lectures, but with practical demonstrations and testing opportunities.
CLEAN ZONE – Surface preparation in practice
IBIX mobile blasting
Presenter: Zsuzsa Szignárovits (PTG)
The zone showcased IBIX's compact, mobile blasting systems, which can be operated with both dry and wet technology and are compatible with various additives, such as granite, baking soda, and glass beads.
The devices have adjustable pressure (0.2–8 bar) and adjustable material flow, making them ideal for gentle cleaning of sensitive surfaces, as well as for powerful, industrial rust removal. They only require air to operate, so they can be quickly installed in the field.
Main advantages: efficiency, environmentally friendly operation, low operating costs.
Falch water jet cleaning
Presenter: László Báthory (Falch)
Visitors were able to get to know the ultra-high pressure water jet cleaning systems of the German company Falch. The focus of the presentation was on the perfect preparation of metal surfaces, the precise efficiency of the equipment and its suitability for industrial use.
Electron – EraserLaser pulse laser cleaning
Presenter: Ádám Újházi (Proconsul)
During the presentation, visitors were able to see the operation of the pulse laser cleaning system up close, which removes contaminants without contact and in a material-friendly manner. The role of focal length and the precision of the laser were also convincingly demonstrated in practice.
COAT ZONE – Innovative powder and liquid coating technology
Liquid zone
Presenter: András Dudás (PTG)
In the liquid coating technologies zone, the optimization of air supply, worker protection, coating life and repairability were given a special role. The goal: fewer defects, longer life, a more comfortable working environment.
Wagner Sprint 2 powder coating system
Presenter: Bertold Bernáth (PTG)
Visitors were able to try out Wagner's latest Sprint 2 series live. The system is one of the most innovative developments in the powder coating industry, offering fast color changes, fine-tunable characteristics, and outstanding adhesion. The DSO technology guarantees excellent aesthetic results.
Sames Inocart manual powder coating system
Presenter: Patrick Buczkó (DEWA)
The system presented as a result of the cooperation between DEWA Zrt. and PTG represents the “powder on powder” technology, which could be one of the defining manual powder coating solutions of the future. Patrick Buczkó and Iván Zsulyevics answered professional questions at the presentation.
Electron +3 powder coating gun
Presenter: Ádám Újházi (Proconsul)
During the Electron +3 series presentation, attendees were introduced to one of the lightest handheld guns in the industry, capable of up to 120 kV/120 µA. The system stands out for its flexibility and advanced control options.
VIRTUAL ZONE – Practicing painting in a VR environment
Presenter: Rita Fekete (PTG)
In the zone, visitors could practice painting techniques in virtual reality without using real materials. The VR system provided feedback on the ideal distance, angle of incidence, speed, and the causes of their mistakes.
Users could try the same workpiece multiple times – without cost or waste.
MASKING & SMART ZONE – Precise masking, flawless painting
Presenter: Dénes Salacz (PTG) és Cecília Varga (Scheen)
The zone covered the correct use of heat-resistant sealants, the practical application of inspection measurements, and the prevention of painting errors. The aim of the presentations was to provide participants with knowledge that would help them create aesthetic, durable coatings.
LEARNING ZONE – Lectures and professional background materials
- Sames – DEWA: A Presentation of Sames' history and future vision as a partner of DEWA
- Electron & Proconsul: Laser technology and the professional background of the new +3 powder coating gun
- Falch: Video technology demonstration
Thank you to our partners and visitors!
The PTG TECHSHOW was held for the first time, but based on visitor feedback, professional discussions and active participation, we are confident that it will become a tradition.
We trust that all participants of the event have had an inspiring and useful professional experience. If any of the presented technologies have piqued your interest, please ask our staff for detailed information or a quote.
See you at the next PTG TECHSHOW!
